The point of this series is to produce the tapes all myself, so when you order one, I will have to then put together all the pieces. this may take a couple days depending on what I have prepared and how many orders I receive. I also have to dub the tapes one at a time because of my budget so please be patient, this is a DIY handmade product. Each tape comes packaged with a small zine describing the project.

Includes unlimited streaming of TAPE 4 via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Tape 4 in the series. Side A is a collection of sounds from the beaches of Maine, as well as the house I live in. No instrumentation on this side just straight Musique Concrete style collage. Side B is special. Side B is a collection of sounds that I field recorded at a protest for Michael Brown, on the day that a grand jury chose not to indict his killer. It was an emotional and powerful experience. Thousands took to the streets of Manhattan, shutting down traffic and making themselves heard. I brought my field recorder with me because I bring it everywhere, and it seemed like something that should be documented. After consideration I decided to turn the music into a piece, with the audio recordings being center in the mix, and with sparse background noise and distractions. I want the piece to be out there and to be heard but I also do not want to turn a profit on this particular tape. All proceeds from TAPE 4 will go towards the Michael O.D. Brown we love our sons and daughter foundation. It won't be much so please consider donating directly yourselves. I would like to say that I am a white person, and I humbly submit this piece as documentation of an important night in history. Because it was done in a crowd of hundreds of people with cameras everywhere I'd like to say that If you hear yourself anywhere in this piece, and are not ok with it, please let me know. People can be heard chanting All Lives Matter at certain points during the piece, which I personally find to be misguided derailment that I do not support. I support increased visibility towards police brutality and the black lives matter movement.

Rest in power Michael Brown.
